I had a lot of fun building this site for myself. I originally built a personal portfolio site at the end of 2013, but decided after a few years that it needed a little refreshing. The Vince Lombardi quote on the homepage was incorporated because I love the values that he embodies and symbolizes. Some of the most fun I had was desigining the about section icons that describe my passions. I also wanted to display my work in a unique way, instead of a rectangle or square grid, and that’s where the hexagons come in. It was a little bit of a chore and definitely took longer than a simple rectangle grid, but the hexagons are refreshing.
